A Family Run Farmstand in Upstate New York Since 1998

Hilton Family Farmstand – Nestled in the heart of the Adirondacks in beautiful Brant Lake New York is a quaint little store filled with local Artisans creations, homemade maple syrup, local honey, jams, baked goods, fresh produce (seasonal), lake clothing & collectables, a large variety of flowers, and of course, the home of our delicious pickles; “Chuck’s Garlic Dills”. A beautiful ride up the lake on Route 8, just past Palisades Road on the left.

More about the Farmstand...

History
The Farmstand was started in 1998 as a typical roadside Farmstand offering vegetables, fruits, and other locally sourced items. Today we have two fully enclosed indoor cabin-like buildings where we still offer our customers those items, as well as many more items that we’ve added (and continue to add).

Location
Our Farmstand has been the go-to source for locals, campers, boaters, and passers-by, offering essential weekend and vacation items. We are conveniently located on Rt-8 in Brant Lake and a scenic 15-minute drive from exit 25 on the Northway (I-87).

Offering
Our store has a mini-grocery section with many summer must-have items such as Martha’s Ice Cream, local coffees, chocolates, locally made soaps, beef jerkeys, local fresh breads, cookies, milk, cheeses, sodas, condiments, peanut butter and more. The Farmstand also stocks basic items such as tooth paste, toilet paper, paper towels, ant-traps, a brush for your grill, ice, bug spray, sunscreen, and many other items.

Purchases
We have remained on the “honor-system” since 1998. Customers pick items from the Farmstand that they want to purchase, then customers write down those items on our payment table, and customers can pay for their items by either leaving the correct cash amount for the items in a lock-box, or by paying online at the payment table using Venmo. The Farmstand has WiFi and the Venmo process is quick and easy.

Hours
For our customers safety and security, the Farmstand has security cameras which are monitored. We have been told by our customers that the cameras make them feel safe, especially during later-night purchases. The cameras also help to encourage the honor-system and accuracy of payments.

Gift items
We also have a second cabin for our Farmstand nextdoor where we have several gift items and souvenirs, from t-shirts, hats, coffee mugs, wine-glasses, baby clothes, framed pictures, bottle openers, candles, Christmas ornaments, and much more.
